Product Description

DP83TC812-Q1 is an AEC-Q100 Grade1 automotive Ethernet PHY transceiver compliant with IEEE 802.3bw 100BASE-T1 Open Alliance standard, designed for data transmission over unshielded single twisted-pair cables.
This automotive PHY supports TC10 sleep and wake-up function, and provides flexible xMII MAC interfaces including MII, RMII, RGMII and SGMII. An integrated low-pass filter on the MDI side effectively reduces electromagnetic emissions. The device operates with 1.8V, 2.5V and 3.3V supply voltage, typical power consumption reaches 230mW, and works reliably under wide temperature range from -40℃ to +125℃.
It comes with abundant built-in diagnostic tools for real-time monitoring, debugging and testing. Featured functions cover TDR cable diagnostics, programmable LED indicators, IEEE 1588 TSN timestamp synchronization, built-in ESD event counting monitor with programmable interrupt, as well as PRBS frame generator matched with internal loopback, which enables independent signal test without external MAC chip.
Packaged in 6.0×6.0mm VQFN36 wettable flank package for automotive SMT production. It is pin-to-pin compatible with DP83TG720 gigabit 1000BASE-T1 PHY, and form-factor compatible with DP83TC811 & DP83TC814. Multiple TI automotive PHY chips can share one unified PCB layout to save development cost, widely used in vehicle ADAS cameras, automotive gateways and T-BOX systems. Original TI electronic components supplied in tape & reel packaging.
