Product Description

The GD32F407xx devices belong to the connectivity product line of the GD32 MCU family. It is a new 32-bit general-purpose microcontroller based on the ARM Cortex-M4 RISC core, offering the best cost-performance ratio in terms of enhanced processing power, reduced power consumption, and peripheral integration. The Cortex-M4 core features a Floating-Point Unit (FPU) that accelerates single-precision floating-point arithmetic operations and supports all ARM single-precision instructions and data types. It implements a full set of DSP instructions to meet the digital signal control market's demand for efficient and easy-to-use integration of control and signal processing capabilities. It also provides a Memory Protection Unit (MPU) and robust trace technology to enhance application security and advanced debugging support. The GD32F407xx device integrates an ARM Cortex-M4 32-bit processor core operating at 168 MHz, with zero-wait-state flash access for maximum efficiency. It offers up to 3072 KB of on-chip flash memory and 192 KB of SRAM memory. A wide range of enhanced I/Os and peripherals are connected to two APB buses. The device provides up to three 12-bit 2.6 MSPS ADCs, two 12-bit DACs, up to eight general-purpose 16-bit timers, two 16-bit PWM advanced-control timers,two 32-bit general-purpose timers, and two 16-bit basic timers, as well as standard and advanced communication interfaces: up to three SPIs, three I²Cs, four USARTs, two UARTs, two IISs, two CANs, one SDIO, USB device/host/OTG FS and HS, and one Ethernet MAC. Additional peripherals include a Digital Camera Interface (DCI), an EXMC interface with SDRAM expansion support, and more. The device operates at a supply voltage of 2.6 to 3.6 V and a temperature range of -40 to +85°C.
