Product Description

The GD5F2GQ5UE series belongs to GigaDevice high-reliability SPI SLC NAND Flash family with a storage density of 2Gb (256M × 8-bit). Designed for 3.3V electronic systems, the device accepts an input voltage range of 2.7V to 3.6V and supports multiple SPI transmission protocols including standard SPI, dual SPI, quad SPI as well as DTR high-speed mode, reaching a maximum clock frequency of 104MHz.

A switchable built-in hardware ECC engine greatly simplifies MCU peripheral design without additional external error correction circuits. The chip features outstanding storage durability: minimum 100,000 program/erase cycles and up to 10 years of valid data storage. An 8KB one-time programmable OTP zone is provided to store confidential identity or security information, while hardware WP pin and software partition write protection jointly guard data against unintended erasure or modification. A 2KB internal cache buffer optimizes random read efficiency, with typical 300μs page program time and 3ms block erase time.

This memory IC is supplied in two surface-mount packages: 6×8mm WSON8-EP and 5×5mm TFBGA24. Multiple temperature options cover -40℃~+85℃ general industrial range and -40℃~+105℃ wide-temperature environment models. All parts ship via standard tape and reel packaging, convenient for automated SMT mass assembly.

Common application fields include IoT smart hardware, industrial control units, smart home devices, measuring instruments, set-top boxes and multimedia equipment. Original GigaDevice memory chips serve as stable serial storage solutions for prototype development and volume production BOM matching.
