GD32H759xx devices belong to the high-performance series of the GD32 MCU family. It is a new 32-bit general-purpose microcontroller based on the Arm Cortex-M7 core, which has the best cost performance in terms of enhanced processing capabilities, reduced power consumption and peripheral configuration. The Arm Cortex-M7 processor is an efficient, high-performance embedded processor with low interrupt latency, low-cost debugging capabilities, and compatibility with existing Cortex-M series processors. The processor features a sequential superscalar pipeline, which means many instructions can be dual-issued, including load/load and load/store instruction pairs, thanks to its multiple memory interfaces. Cortex-M7 is a high-performance processor with a 6-stage superscalar pipeline, branch prediction function, and optional floating-point unit (FPU) that supports single-precision operations and optional double-precision operations. Instruction and data bus width has been expanded from the previous 32 bits to 64 bits. It also provides a Memory Protection Unit (MPU) and powerful tracing technology to enhance application security and provide advanced debugging support.
